Energy is essential to quality human life and the country’s economic growth as the demand for supply continues to increase. According to the Department of Energy (DOE) in the Philippines, the country envisions that the Total Final Energy Consumption is expected to increase at an average rate of 4.3% annually. As indicated in the Asian Development Outlook 2019, the Philippines continuously remain among the fastest-growing economies in Asia with an expected GDP growth rate of 6.4% in 2020.
In our past events, we have been focusing on Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) sectors in the Philippines. We have empowered clean energy solutions and promoted an increasing trend of clean energy investment by bringing together RE and EE top industry players to showcase innovative technologies to a highly-targeted audience including government leaders, decision-makers from industrial and business sectors, energy concessionaires, consultants, and energy professionals.
With the success of the RE and EE show in the Philippines, we have seen the need to expand and include other energy profile sectors to the show.
Collectively, we are proud to present to you, PhilEnergy, with expanded energy profiles not only in Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) but also including Electric and Power (E&P), Electric Vehicle (EV), and Energy Storage (ES).
By including more energy sectors in our show, we are expressing our full support to the DOE, and the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) which paved the way for local and international investors and advocates in developing alternative energy resources—which can significantly contribute to attaining the country’s goal to energy self-sufficiency, energy security, and environmental sustainability by the year 2040.
We are expecting to connect and engage with over 300 international and local exhibiting companies and 10,000 highly-targeted visitors during the 3-day event. PhilEnergy is co-located with Water Philippines, the country’s fastest-growing B2B event, presenting the best water technologies and solutions for water supply, sanitation, industrial wastewater, and purification.
Apart from running the exhibition, we are also organizing over 50 high-level Conference and Technical seminars lead by industry leaders and experts.
Informa Markets and UBM Exhibitions Philippines is committed to positively contribute to the society through our events. We partner with the government, associations, and advocates, in ensuring that our exhibition shows are in line with the country’s current programs and policies.
PhilEnergy 2021 is supported by the Renewable Energy Association of the Philippines (REAP), the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2), the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines (IIEE), and the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (eVAP). With their support. PhilEnergy will be the best platform for all industry stakeholders and leaders to gather and showcase the best practices and solutions at the event.
We look forward to seeing you there at PhilEnergy, on 08 – 10 December 2021 at the SMX Convention Center in Metro Manila, Philippines.
